We played at home.

Wednesdays are my day off with Maya.  Often we go to Fruita to the post office, thrift store, library, or to Camilla's for lunch.  Today we hung around at home.  I worked on clearing out the garden for winter and harvesting the last of the produce and herbs, and I made a spicy vegetable soup in an attempt to kill this cold/sinus infection I have had for weeks.   Maya helped me make soup, played outside and lived up to her billing as "Hurricane Maya" with her ability to scatter toys around the house like a gale force wind.

This is "Hoppy", Maya's grasshopper friend.   She wouldn't get anywhere near him after catching him because his random leaps freaked her out.
