Elucidation

So I finally figured something out.   Periodically Maya shows up with a cat scratch, and when I asked her what happened she says "Banjo was mean to me".   I've been thinking that he is getting playful and scratching her.  Today though, I got to observe what happens first hand...

Starting out with both parties happy...relaxing on the couch.

The cuddling starts...

Then the half-nelson...

Lots of smooching then occurs...

Oops, he's not in the right position for kissing...

I love Banjo's face in this one.    It says it all.

No scratches this time.  This cat is a saint.
